Watermelon Drink Recipes Blender
I need a drink recipe using fresh watermelon?
I do NOT have any Midori. I like sweet drinks. So, what can I do with fresh watermelon, in the blender?
Thanks for the hint on freezing cubes first – I’m going to try the strawberry recipe, and the lemonade one (might break down and actually buy some melon liquor, LOL). I’ll pick the best answer after I’ve tried some of these!!
I am a bartender and the last place place I worked had a drink called a watermelon lemonade. Its 1 1/4 vodka and we used watermelon liquor but you can use your fresh watermelon and make sure you get enough juice out otherwise its going to be a little watery or you could use a little simple syrup ( sugar and hot water, stir and put in fridge to thicken) to give it more sweetness, add about 3/4 of watermelon juice with watermelon and fill the rest with lemonade or sweet and sour. I would use yellow colored country time lemonade it taste the best with this recipe. If you don’t really like it try blending vodka and watermelon and simple syrup and put it in a cup to freeze but every once and a while (i would say every hour.. I know its a lot of work but its yummy) stir it up and enjoy. I have a sno cone maker so I would just freeze it and put it in the sno cone maker for shaved ice. Enjoy your drink!
