Tropical drink recipes?
okay, well, my family and friends and I couldn;t get tickets to go see Kenny Chesney tomorrow. we;re having a kenny chesney party. does anyone know any tropical drinks (alcholic and non) as well as ideas? we;re open to anything!

Episode: Tiki Bar Treats
1 1/2 ounces Myers’s Plantation Rum
1 ounce Cuban Rum
3/4 ounce fresh lime juice
1 ounce fresh grapefruit juice
1/4 Falernum*
1/2 ounce Cointreau
2 dashes Angostura bitters
1 dash Pernod
1 cup cracked ice
Slice squeezed lime, for garnish
Pineapple spear, for garnish
Mint sprig, for garnish
*Falernum is a lime/ginger based syrup and can be found in some large liquor stores.
Pour all the liquids into a cocktail shaker. Fill it with ice and shake for about 30 seconds. Pour it all into a 16-ounce double old-fashioned glass. Garnish with lime slice, pineapple, and mint sprig.
This recipe was provided by professional chefs and has been scaled down from a bulk recipe provided by a restaurant. The Food Network Kitchens chefs have not tested this recipe, in the proportions indicated, and therefore, we cannot make any representation as to the results.

2 parts pineapple-coconut juice (recommended: Kern’s)
1 splash bottled lime juice (recommended: Rose’s)
1 part vanilla vodka
1/2 part half-and-half
1/2 part banana Schnapps
Ice cubes
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup sweetened coconut flakes (recommended: Baker’s)
Add all ingredients, except coconut flakes and honey, in a cocktail shaker with ice. Pour honey onto a plate. Lay out coconut on a plate. Dip the rims of chilled glasses into honey and roll in coconut. Shake and pour into chilled martini glasses to serve.
Note: For a non-alcoholic version, omit the vodka and the banana Schnapps and substitute the ice with 1 banana. Puree the mixture in a blender.

1/4 cup pineapple juice
1/4 cup white rum
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
2 teaspoons sugar
1/2 to 3/4 cup ice cubes
Lime slice or pineapple wedge, for garnish, optional
Combine the pineapple juice, rum, lime juice, sugar, and ice in a cocktail shaker and shake to chill. Strain into a stemmed cocktail glass and serve immediately, garnished with a lime slice or a pineapple wedge, if desired. (Alternatively, daiquiri may be blended in a blender with the ice for a frozen cocktail.)

1/2 ripe mango, peeled and seeded
1/2 ripe papaya, peeled and seeded
1 ripe banana
1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
1/2 cup skim milk
1/4 cup nonfat yogurt
1 teaspoon good honey
2 cups ice
In a blender, combine the mango, papaya, banana, orange juice, milk, yogurt, honey, and ice. Blend until smooth

6 tablespoons lemonade concentrate
1 teaspoon sugar-free peach gelatin powder (Recommended: Jell-O)
1/4 cup tropical punch mix
6 cups water
Ice cubes
1 lemon, sliced
In large pitcher add all ingredients except lemon slices and ice cubes; stir.
Serve in ice filled glasses with a straw. Garnish each glass with slice of lemon
