Tiki Bar Drink Recipes
What are some simple bar recipes?
I am building a small tiki bar in my house and I have pop on tap already. I wanted to know what are some simple non-alcoholic creations I can make at the bar. I have purchased cherry syrup to make Shirley Temples and such but I am unsure of what other simple drinks to make.
Kate is right, most frozen (or blended) drinks can be made virgin (non-alcoholic) drinks. A major grocery store will have a good assortment of various drink mixes without the alcohol. All you will have to do is add the ice and blend. Kids love them!
Here are a couple more:
Hawaiian Island Surfer
4oz orange sherbet
2oz pineapple juice
1oz coconut cream
(blend briefly with a half glass of ice, serve with fruit garnish and straws)
Banana Tropical
1 banana
125 g yogurt
2 dl pineapple juice
(Put all ingredients in a blender and blend for 3 minutes. If the mix isn’t liquid enough (depends on the banana), add another shot of pineapple juice. Decorate with a piece of the banana and a piece of a pineapple.
Tarzan’s Juicy Cooler
3 oz orange juice
3 oz pineapple juice
1/4 oz grenadine syrup
1/2 oz lemon juice
1 tbsp strawberry yogurt
2 tsp clear honey
(Blend briefly with half a glassful of crushed ice and pour into a highball glass. Garnish with a slice of orange speared with a cherry, add straws, and serve.)
