Tequila Drink Recipes Lime Juice
What can substitute cointreau?
Ok so I’m trying to make a drink for my friend’s 21st bday. The drinks’ recipe has cointreau, but that is way to expensive for my budget…so what is a good substitute that would go good with the rest of the ingredients??
The drink has:
3 slices of jalapenos
2 slices of cucumber
1 T agave nectar
2 oz of cointreau
2 1/2 oz of silver tequila
lime juice
You can usually find a generic Triple Sec (deKuyper or some such cheapness) that will add the same flavor to the drink
