When making a drink: It calls for a certain amount of “parts”? what is “part”? *QUICK PLZ*
my mother dear is making mojitos for family gathering, and shes using the Barcardi’s website recipe.

It calls for “9 parts Bacardi rum”, “15 Parts club soda”, etc.
What measurement is “parts”?
How do u know…. is it a cup?

a part is a single measure of any size. it could be an ounce, a cup, whatever. the recipe will say 1 part of this 2 parts of that, etc…. and does not care how big the “part” is. It calling for a ratio.
