Popular Drink Recipes Liquor

While making tiramisu, what kind of liquor do you recommend?
Now, I’ve done a lot of research so far and I’ve found out that Marsala wine is a very popular type of liquor to use in authentic tiramisu. However, I’ve asked my parents about it and neither of them seem to have heard about it. I’m wondering if Marsala is an expensive wine.
If Marsala is going to be expensive/hard to find, what kind of liquor would you recommend I use? I’ve heard of using sherry and maybe even Bailey’s. I’m nowhere near drinking age, so I really wouldn’t know what to substitute, but I’d like to keep the recipe as authentic as possible.
I’m also open to seeing some recipes if you have a good one to recommend. Hah, this question is all over the place.
Thanks bunches.
You could use sherry. If you want the flavour of alchol then use a flavoured coffee.
alternatively you could use the hazelnut or butterscotch syrups that coffee houses put in their flavoured coffees
