the best pina colada bottled mix?
ive bought my vodka and was wondering whats the best bottle of inexpensive pina colada mix to get (i know this drink is made with rum but i have found a few recipes that use vodka instead so i think it will be good)

thank you so much for the detailed info, i ended up getting master of mixers since there was only 2 bottled mixes at the store i went to, the rest were like powdered mixes or something. i went to the store before i saw your answer too, thanks for the info though, next time i will be sure to get that. thanks again!
The only cheap mix that I would buy is Finest Call. That’s what my bartender uses. Torani makes a pretty good one, but it’s more expensive.
If you ever decide to create an actual pina colada, try one of my recipes. The cost of buying the ingredients is actually cheaper than most mixes and tastes WAY better. Kind of like the difference between a McDonald’s burger and a homemade backyard burger.
Substitute your Vodka for the Rum if you like. Just be aware that Rum has an added flavor component that Vodka doesn’t have.

Standard Pina Colada
Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz light rum
4 oz pineapple juice
2 oz coconut cream
Blend in blender for about 15 seconds with or without 1 cup of ice.
Garnish: cherry and pineapple
Top Shelf Pina Colada
Ingredients:
1 1/2 ounces white rum
1 ounce dark rum
1 1/2 ounces coco lopez coconut cream (in can)
1 ounce double cream or whipping cream
3 ounces pineapple juice
1 dash Angostura bitters
Blend in blender for about 15 seconds with or without 1 cup of ice.
1 maraschino cherry, to garnish
1 pineapple slice, wedge, to garnish
If you want to get fancy, serve it in a hollowed out pineapple shell.
