Why did lemon and lime juice make me throw up?
I drink one Margarita every now and then and tonight I decided to try a new recipe; instead of the usual sweet and sour Margarita mix I used 1/2 a lemon and 1/2 a lime. I drank 3/4’s of the drink which was a small drink because the only other ingredients it consisted of was the usual 1 oz grand marnier and 1.5 oz tequila. I violently starting throwing up. It was like the exorcist. ha ha ha. I haven’t thrown up in years. I’m so glad I was outside !!! I feel sorry for the neighbors who might glance at it though. Why did this happen to me? It’s so WEIRD. The acidity in your stomach probably caused this. Too much acidity can do bad things to a stomach.
