Frozen Drink Recipes Rum
Anyone know how to make a frozen Coco Mo like at the Hilton Waikoloa Village resort in Hawaii?
My wife and I enjoyed the Hilton Waikoloa Village’s Coco Mo frozen drink, but I haven’t had any luck finding the recipe online. Their menu says “Malibu coconut rum, chocolate syrup, cream of coconut,” but nothing else. Wife says she wants one, so I am on a mission. Anyone?
Their menu is probably right, and you’ll just need to experiment with proportions and crushed ice. One of the catches, though, is the BRAND of the ingredient, which can be their secret. They could make their chocolate sauce in house. However, there are several sites that feature copycat (or kopykat) recipes. Try googling the name of the drink, including the hotel, and “copycat” and something may come up. At least you’ll have fun looking. Good luck.
