What do you think of the new sailor jerry?
In the UK sailor jerry rum has changed its recipe. I think it is now the same as the american version. They have taken out the vanilla and lime flavoring which gave it its distinctive taste.
If you are in the US, do you drink sailor jerry? do you like it?

yeah, it definately has changed. Places that sell it might still have the old version in if they dont sell a lot of it but the new style bottle has a very different taste. I like morgans spiced but it is not as good as the old sailor jerry 
There are actually facebook groups with thousands of people protesting about the new recipe
salior jerry is a gorgeous drink and its the vanilla that makes it different. i am a barmaid and drink saliors and although the bottle has changed i have found the spirit is the same. are you sure its been changed? i ordered new ones this week and its the same to me. if it has i can tell you ill always prefer it just how it was. yum 
ps if you dont like it try morgans spiced instead because its lovely too.
