Drink Recipes Tequila Orange Juice

Can I substitute blood orange bitters for blood orange juice in a drink recipe?
I went to my local beverage store and searched for blood orange juice/liqueur/syrup and the only thing the employee could recommend was the blood orange bitters. Is this one in the same? Or will I have a “bitter” drink using the bitters? I am looking to make blood orange margaritas so it matters because I am mixing it with acidic lime juice and tequila. I don’t want bitter root flavors in my margi’s. thanks for your help an advance!
no, bitters are a flavorant that you just use a few drops in a drink.
i would say it would be best to either substitute orange juice and if you really want it red, add a little food coloring.
