What is a simple drink with amaretto? (or maybe not amaretto?)?

I am looking for a simple recipe for something for my next party. I don’t want to buy a whole bunch of different types of liquor. I Have about half a mickey of vodka left, and i was going to try some amaretto (friend highly recommends the stuff). What should I mix with it? OR, maybe you can suggest a different liquor?

Pour amaretto into a cordial glass. Float a bit of cream on top. Delish.
