drink recipes godiva liqueur
looking for a different version of this drink?

i went on godivas website and found a chocolate martini. its just godiva liqueur and vodka. it looks REALLY thin in the picture

YEARS ago, i went to bennigans and got a chocolate martini that was out of this world. i remmeber it having chocolate syrup drizzled on the insides of the glass, but i think i also remember it being thicker (like no transparent like the one in the recipe i found). does anyone know of a good recipe for this, or used to work at bennagins and want to share the recipe? :)

Dip the edge of a cold martini glass into melted dark chocolate and then into Oreo cookie crumbs. Using a sqeeze bottle filled with warm melted dark chocolate, drizzle the chocolate on the inside of the chilled glass. Put it in a chiller while you mix the drink–several can be made in advance in anticipation of them being ordered.

Make the drink as follows:

Heavenly Chocolate Martini
Serves 2

1 oz Godiva® chocolate liqueur
1 oz Godiva® white chocolate liqueur
1 oz creme de cacao
1 oz Bailey’s® Irish cream
1 oz vodka
2 oz half-and-half
Two Chocolate covered Godiva cherries on cocktail pics

Pour all of the above ingredients into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake well, and strain into 2 of the preprepped martini glasses and rest the chocolate covered cherry pic on the rim.

For a Chocolate Orange martini, add ½ oz. orange liquer; for a Chocolate Raspberry Martini, add ½ oz. raspberry liqueur; for a Chocolate Coconut Martini, add ½ oz. Malibu Rum
