The holidays often encourage us to eat hot food, traditional and spend more time with our families. Hot Butter Rum
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons vanilla ice cream
1 teaspoon granulated sugar
1 teaspoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon butter
Ron
Nutmeg
Water
Directions: Mix sugar and coffee regular and butter in a saucepan. Set over low heat until butter melts. Be sure to stir from time to time. When butter has melted, pour the mixture into a large bowl and add the ice cream. Beat until mixture is smooth. To drink, rum butter, full 1 / 4 of a cup with the mixture, add one ounce of rum and 3 / 4 cup boiling water. Top with a pinch of nutmeg. Caramel Ice Cream / / sugar mixture can be stored in a closed container in the refrigerator for about two weeks, making it a breeze to prepare when you have unexpected company.
Kahlua Egg Nog
Ingredients:
Egg Nog
Kahlua
Directions: This is easy! In a small bowl, mix 4 parts eggnog 1 part Kahlua. Garnish with a pinch of nutmeg if you like some jazz.
Mocha cooled Bailey
Ingredients:
4 ounces milk chocolate
2 oz cold coffee
A Bailey Irish Cream Oz
Whipped Cream
Chocolate Powder or chips
Ice
Instructions: In a tall glass, add ice, milk chocolate, coffee and Bailey. Mix and top with whipped cream. Sprinkle with chocolate shaved chocolate or a pinch of powder and serve.
Hot Hot cider
Ingredients:
3 cups apple cider
4 cinnamon sticks and 2 more garnish
1 / 2 cup cinnamon liqueur
1 / 2 cup spiced rum
Instructions: Mix all ingredients in a pot (or slow cooker) and heat over medium heat. Once the mixture is hot, reduce heat to low and stop thinking for about an hour. Serve hot and garnish with a cinnamon stick or two.
