Drink Recipes Containing Vodka
Any good “PINK” alcoholic drinks that might contain vodka?
my roommate swears she is a princess, and loves the color pink. we are doing the bar scene for her birthday and also throwing a party at our place. i want to have a signature drink for the night but it NEEDS to be pink. shots and mixed drink recipes are wanted. As long as the end color is pink, i don’t care if it doesn’t have vodka. Please let me know, Thank you all
Here are a couple:
COSMOPOLITAN
Not only is it pink, but it’s quintessentially girly and was made popular by Sex and the City:
-Ice cubes
-1 1/2 fluid ounces lemon vodka
- 1 fluid ounce Cointreau
- 1 fluid ounce cranberry juice
- 2 teaspoons freshly squeezed lime juice
- lemon slice or orange peel garnish
Combine ice and all liquid ingredients in a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously. Strain into a martini glass and garnish with a slice of orange peel or a lemon slice.
*You can also find cosmopolitan mix at most grocery stores (so all you’d need is the vodka)
DIRTY SHIRLEY:
A twist on the classic Shirley Temple or “Kiddy Cocktail”:
- Ice
- 1 oz vodka
- 5 – 6 oz Sprite (or for a citrus kick, try Squirt)
- 1 dash grenadine syrup
- Maraschino cherry
Combine ice, vodka, soda, and grenadine in a glass and stir lightly. Toss in a cherry or two for a garnish and enjoy!
STRAWBERRY DAIQUIRI
- 6 cups ice
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 4 ounces frozen strawberries
- 1/8 cup lime juice
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 3/4 cup rum or vodka
- 1/4 cup lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage
- Whipped cream
In a blender, combine ice, sugar and strawberries. Pour in lime juice, lemon juice, rum/vodka and lemon-lime soda. Blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve. Garnish with some whipped cream if desired
PINK FLAMINGO
A delicious blend of tart and sweet
- 1oz vodka (plain or fruit flavored)
- 1 oz pineapple juice
- 1 oz cranberry juice
- 3 oz lemonade
- dash of grenadine
- Orange slice
- Ice
Combine ingredients over ice and stir. Serve with an orange garnish if desired.
PINK JELLO SHOTS
- 1 (6 ounce) package raspberry flavored gelatin mix
- 2 cups boiling water
- 3/4 cup ice water
- 1/4 cups raspberry (or plain) vodka
Stir the gelatin into the boiling water until dissolved. Pour in the ice water and vodka; mix well. Pour into shot glasses or devices specifically made for ‘Party Shots.’ Chill in the refrigerator for 1 to 2 hours, until set. **Strawberry jello can also be used
