Cocktail Recipes Sandra Lee

Sandra Lee? !?

Her Semi-Homemade show makes me laugh so much! Her recipes are so silly and funny. The other day I saw her making some dessert in which she took an entire apple pie, destroyed it, and then reassembled it with whipped cream! Then she’s like, “Don’t you just love semi-homemade – you can take one thing and turn it into something completely different!”

She also drinks sooooooo much. She makes a cocktail on every show. It seems like she rushes on all her food because she is just so excited for her cocktail time! Also everything has to match! If she is making a cranberry cocktail, her Tablescape has to be RED!

It is just sad that she has her own cooking show. On Food Network.com her food gets LOW ratings. Does not surprise me.

What are your thoughts on Sandra Lee?

I agree totally. She cracks me up to the point of tears, sometimes, with her wacky ideas. I wonder who does her hair? Sometimes there is so much hairspray in her hair is takes on a life of its own. BTW, way too much teasing goes on there too.

Sandra Lee definately loves her cocktails. I just wonder who really drinks a cocktail everyday, especially one with vodka. Her drinks seem pretty good, but geese, I can’t imagine coming home from an 10 hour day at the office makeing cornbread in soup cans and then having a peachtini or whatever with vodka. I’d be flat on my butt a half an hour later.

Her table scapes are crazy to say the least. FIrst of all I have to comment on the change of kitchen scenery each episode too. Ever notice hhow she has like ten different colored mixers or blenders. I swear I’ve seen a blue one, red one, orange one, grey, pink, etc. You name it and she has at least 6 different colors of it. Now for her table scapes. Ok, I can appreciate that for a special occasion like Christmas or Thanksgiving, my table might look a little festive, but not for Mexican night or Chinese food night. I have never and will never go out and buy Chinese paper lanterns and individual chinese boxes nor will I buy flag cloth to turn into a patriotic table scape for the 4th of July. Unless I have tons of money, in which case I will hire a catering service, hah

To put it simple crazy and rediculously over the top, but then again it is Sandra Lee…
