Cocktail Recipes Pink Taco
What are some cheap, easy finger foods I can make for picky eaters?
I’m throwing a bachelorette party, and I really need some ideas. Things that have relatively few ingredients, are simple to make, and are not for people with “complex palates.” So nothing with “weird” stuff – no avocadoes, spinach, lamb, curry, etc. I’m also looking for recipe names that can sound dirty – so far I’m making cocktail weenies and (pink) taco dip. Any suggestions?
thanks for the tips! BTW, salad is not a finger food.
The popular finger foods these days are deli meat trays, finger sandwiches (tuna, chicken, egg salad), chicken fingers, pasta salad, shrimp cocktail, cheese and crackers, chips and dip, chips and salsa, veggies and dip, lil weenies, (pigs n a blanket), ….
Costco or Sam’s Club is your friend! You can buy all kinds of good finger food in bulk for pretty cheap. Such as: teriyaki chicken skewers, mini quiches, veggie/fruit/cheese trays, coconut shrimp, buffalo wings, spinich/artichoke dip, bruschetta, etc.
The most work you have to do for most of these is take it out of the box and stick in the oven. They also have a ton of pre-made, ready to go platters that would be quick and easy!
Take those little cocktail weenies and wrap a little dough
around them bake in oven…Always a big hit!! Just use crossant rolls and cut into little strips….. Another hit cold shrimp
defrost arrange on a tray, then put a bowl in middle with cocktail sauce… Check out the food network on-line, Sandra Lee has alot of semi- homemade ideas. One of her shows had a backyard reception she did…Just look at her show titles and you will find.
Easy, Easy way out.. go to sams club and buy the big packages of heat and serve finger foods… $10.00 a bag and you have everything from tgif friday dips to wonderful designer finger foods, such as shrimp dejonge…Quick, Quick and simple…Hope this helps!!!!
