Cocktail Recipes Martinis

What is your recipe for the perfect Martini?
Mine:
3 ounces of good Gin
one half ounce of Noily Prat Dry Vermouth
2 drops of Orange Bitters
Shake the above hard and fast for 4 seconds with lots of ice in a well chilled cocktailshaker, then strain into a well chilled cocktail glass.
On the top of the Martini, spray in a bit of the essential oil of a lemon peel. Then drop in the lemon peel.
Enjoy!
What’s yours?
After much experimentation, I’ve found the following is yummy good!
3.5oz Beefeater Gin
Small splash of Martini & Rossi Dry Vermouth
Mix(shake or stir – I like them both) in a shaker straight from the freezer.
Serve in a Martini glass just as cold.
Garnish with three olives and three drops of the olive brine.
For a dry Martini, just the gin and olives mixed the same way, and just glance at the vermouth.
Enjoy!
