Cocktail Recipes Martha Stewart
If we are doing a winter wedding, we were thinking of limiting alcohol to wine and a signature cocktail?
I want a dry wedding, but I know that won’t go over great with 90% of our guests (which in a small wedding makes a big difference lol), so my groom and I thought about just offering a couple selections of wine, as well as a signature eggnog cocktail (a recipe we got from Martha Stewart).
Would this limited selection be better then a dry wedding, or would it be better just to offer no alcohol?
Would an eggnog cocktail be too “Christmasy” if the wedding was in February?
I should add some details: I am the only one in my family who does not like eggnog, and most of the guests are from my family. Since I don’t really drink anyways, this shouldn’t be a problem lol. I also don’t want beer at my wedding.
I’d offer up a red & white wine, along with some champagne for the toast, and maybe the signature drink. I’m not personally a huge fan of eggnog, and there are a considerable number of people who are lactose intolerant (or even vegetarian/vegan) and that would preclude them.
At my wedding (December 30th), we just offered beer, two wines & champagne for toasts, as well as soda, water & juice (for the non-drinkers) and had a couple of bottles of apple cider on hand for them as well.
