taketwo stopped in for a Tiffin-bite to eat at the fabulous Tiffinbites restaurant. Tiffinbites have an amazing selection of Indian cuisine to offer, all of their recipes are traditional and all the ingredients are fresh. The Tiffinbites concept was inspired by Mumbai’s Tiffin-Wallahs.
The delivery boys would bring meals to hungry office workers in metallic Tiffin dishes. Tiffinbites have continued the tradition by serving freshly prepared, flavoursome and healthy Indian food to their customers.
They have some fantastic dishes on offer from delicious and zesty chaat to wonderful starters, Smokey kebabs and classic curries. The staff are extremely friendly and Tiffinbites cooking is fast so that the food is served quick.
Tiffinbites is also home to celebrites as it is part owned by Bollywood actress and Big Brother star, Shilpa Shetty. The food is prepared by television celebrity chef Andy Varma, who has ran several successful restaurants in India. He oversees the Food and Business Department for all V8 Gourmet’s businesses and ensures that quality standards are maintained on a constant basis.
The great thing about Tiffinbites is the food tastes incredibly fresh and delicious. Every dish they serve is accompanied with two separate dishes, for example if you are having the Chicken Korma, it is served with pilau rice and saag aloo. The price of the meals is affordable and the food is remarkable in presentation and taste. Customers can choose from a wide range of delicious accompaniments that include, a platter of 4 poppadoms, mint and coriander chutney, spicy lime pickle, chilli pickle and raita.
If you’re a big fan of curry then Tiffinbites is a dream come true. The restaurant has its own exclusive Curry Lover’s Club that customers can join. Membership is free and those that join get a free bottle of wine and a birthday dinner. Tiffinbites also serve a variety of exciting cocktails and drinks, perfectly for winding down after work.
