What exotic spices do you use with beef?
I am trying to reconstruct a recipe for Mongolian
meat balls to be served for cocktails, but not the
big fancy ones in a sauce that they make ….. I think it had sweet spices like clove & allspice, and maybe some garlic & ginger, could it be some little pieces of prune ??
In any case, I am looking for a cocktail snack…..something a little different from
the basil-garlic-black pepper seasoning…

Myself, I sometimes use a sauce with the regular onion and garlic, but also add a touch of cinnamon and cardamom. That one’s really nice.
