Alcohol Drink Recipes Sangria
Help! Light cocktails / punch recipes for big group?
Hello. I am having a little exposition at my house this Saturday for some artists. I would like to provide some light cocktails (e.g. punch or Sangria maybe) for those who come.
Please help. I am no expert with drinks. What would you recommend that I can make in batches/ large quantities, with a minimum of alcohol? Should I use punch bowls?
Essentially, I need a recipe that’s easy, not too expensive, tasty, and can be made relatively quickly. Thanks so much, in advance!
i like doing Sangria for large groups of company, not to strong, fruity flavored version. And fairly easy to do, and makes a great presentation, as long as your not making it in some metal pale.
INGREDIENTS:
1 Bottle of red wine (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Rioja, Zinfandel, Shiraz)
1 Lemon cut into wedges
1 Orange cut into wedges
1 Lime cut into wedges
2 Tbsp sugar
Splash of orange juice
2 Shots of gin
1 Cup of sliced strawberries or raspberries (may use thawed or frozen)
1 Small can of diced pineapples (with juice)
4 Cups ginger ale
PREPARATION:
Pour wine in the pitcher and squeeze the juice wedges from the lemon, orange and lime into the wine. Toss in the fruit wedges (leaving out seeds if possible) and pineapple then add sugar, orange juice and gin.
